Somer Valley Rotary Club - Public Speaking Evening
Somer Valley Rotary Club hosted their Public Speaking Event at Somervale School on the evening of the 27th February 2008. It was with extreme pleasure that the PTA welcomed back The Rotary Club to the School.
The PTA served refreshments to the guests of the Rotary Club and to the Club members. It was wonderful to see the support that the Rotary Club gives to schools with the opportunity to demonstrate the skills that students have in Public Speaking. From the discussions heard during the refreshment break the PTA helpers missed fascinating speeches, whilst we were boiling kettles, which the audience enjoyed.
