Do you love to get money back from The TAXMAN? We do!

Somervale School PTA is a registered charity,which can reclaim tax under the Government’s Gift Aid scheme.

If you are a tax payer and donate an amount via Gift Aid to the PTA, we can start getting hold of those pennies from the Taxman. This means that £10 can be turned into £12.80.

For example - if 600 students returned just £1 each, an additional £169.20 would come back from the Taxman!

Imagine what a difference £729.20 could make.

What do you have to do? Just simply print out the Gift AId form, complete the form with your details, donation being given and return the signed form & your donation to the PTA via the School. The completed form will cover you for future events and donations.

Further Gift Aid information can be obtained from the Inland Revenue website.

Notes: You must pay an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax at least equal to the tax that the PTA reclaims on your donations in the tax year. You can cancel this declaration at any time by notifying the PTA. Please notify the PTA if you change your name or address.
