17th October 2008 - Year 5 / 6 / 7 Disco

What an exciting evening for children, staff and helpers. The children were so keen on coming to the disoc that they arrived early. This kept the helpers and staff on their toes. The number of children that attended was up from last year by 40%. The prime aim of the evening is a social event for Year 7s to meet old friends (Year 6/5) from their old school and for Year 6s (potential future students) to get a feel for the school and talk to Year 7s about how they feel about the school. Of course, their aim is to enjoy themselves and Oh Boy, they did.  This year, the Tuck Shop was more adventurous. with new ideas and items for sale - some items went down a storm.

This year, side attractions such as glow sticks and a game called Pick a Ball where a prize was won each time were available as a trial, They were a roaring success.

The PTA wishes to thank everyone for their support and help with this event, especially the children.
